Hannah, Brendon and Miss Bonnie

Hannah, Brendon and Miss Bonnie

Lions Head Road parklands in Mount Macedon is one of my absolute favourites to photograph in.

The most beautiful tall gums and ferns makes it the perfect mix of locations for Maternity Photos.

I was so excited to take Hannah and Brendon up there for their session.

These two were so much fun to photograph!!

Although I’m sure Brendon would have preferred being at home doing something else,

he did AMAZING and even helped carry my bags 😛

Hannah’s amazing gowns are non other than Coven & co and oh my goodness they photograph beautifully.

This Mumma is a 2020 goddess!! Every single photograph in their gallery was just stunning and had to be in it!

Sometimes, pregnancy doesn’t make you fee all glowing and goddess like and that is OKAY!!

This is why I include professional hair and make up with our maternity, newborn and family sessions.

As a way of pampering our Mumma’s because they deserve it!!!

During a maternity session with Aurora Joy Photography, its not all stand there, look at me, look down, smile.

I love to have fun with our clients and capture those beautiful candid photographs like this one!

The emotion and movement it brings to a photograph is amazing.

Now, I introduce to you, Miss Bonnie!

At first, she wasn’t a fan of sleeping and missing out on what was happening,

but don’t you worry I worked her magic and soothed miss bonnie to sleep, not before capturing this adorable awake shot!

Hannah and Brendon had asked for natural earthy tones mixed with pops of colour.

I went for a boho inspired theme here to really focus on miss Bonnie.

Look at those eye lashes!!

when I saw Hannah’s hand made floral crown I knew I had to replicate it for their newborn session for their sweet baby girl to wear.

This actual photo has now become Aurora Joy Photography’s new logo thanks to the talent of her amazing parents!!

I make it a point, to include family poses with all newborn sessions.

This doesn’t have to mean the traditional boring stand in front of of the camera and smile poses.

It means getting in close and capturing special photos like this one. same in both her parents arms with a little smile.

This! This right here is what I love!!

The connection and love in a single photo blows up here!!

Sometimes, to add something different to a gallery, I pop in a few digital backdrops like this one.

To blend with the natural, earthy, boho look for miss Bonnie’s session, this backdrop was perfect.

This particular digital backdrop is from the amazing Luisa Dunn Photography

I am a sucker for Daddy and baby photos!!

Mainly because they will not fit like this in their Daddy’s arms for long and its so important to document just how little they were especially in their dads manly arms.

Yep, I read that again and manly sounds weird but you know what I mean. A grown man with a teeny tiny baby squished into a little burrito in their arms.
