What to expect

You have worked so hard to get here. Some of us waited longer than we expected. Some of us held our breath the whole way through. A maternity session is how you honour it — with gowns, golden light, and photographs that belong on your wall for the next thirty years. From the moment you enquire, every detail is guided. You just show up. We take care of everything else.

The ideal time for your maternity session is between 28 and 36 weeks. We recommend booking from 12 weeks to secure your preferred date.

Your baby is here. Finally, completely here. The first days are a blur — love and exhaustion and awe, all at once. We slow it down. We hold it still. In our warm Romsey studio, unhurried and entirely at your baby's pace — wraps, styling, feeding breaks, all taken care of. Your only job is to arrive and be present with them.

When to book

Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first 5 to 14 days of life. We strongly recommend booking during your second trimester — we confirm the exact timing once baby arrives. Babies beyond this age are able to be photographed but may not pose as easily in the curled, sleepy positions typical of the newborn stage.

One year. Already.

One whole year of figuring it out together — and look at them. Look at you. Let's mark it properly. Cake. Colour. The biggest smiles of the year — and yes, we do the cleanup. Every cake smash session is fully styled and guided from start to finish. You just enjoy every perfect, messy moment.

When to book

The ideal time for a cake smash session is when your baby is sitting un-assisted but not quite walking. This is usually around the 10 month mark. This allows for beautiful photographs in time for their first birthday.
