What is a session fee?
This is a $200 non refundable payment to secure and start planning your session.
What is included in the session fee?
Your session fee includes the session itself and hair and makeup (if available). Digital or printed photographs are not included in the session fee. These can be purchased in one of our packages.
How much does it cost?
This is totally up to you! Our packages start at $1200 for maternity, newborn and family sessions. To give you a guide, our families invest between $2800 and $5800 on beautiful heirloom products, wall art and photographs.
Do you supply the props etc for newborn sessions?
YES!!!! We have a studio full of props, blankets and outfits available for our teeny tiny clients to use for their newborn photoshoot. We of course sanitize and thoroughly clean everything after each session.
Is my session fee refundable or transferable?
Your session fee is absolutely transferable but as we only take limited sessions each month, it is not refundable.
Can our session be rescheduled if we are unwell or if the weather is bad?
Of course! Your session fee will be transferred to the soonest open date available. Melbourne is famous for serving up 4 seasons in 1 day, so we are more than happy to reschedule your session if the weather is not ideal.
Can I purchase a gift certificate, what’s included, and how long is it valid for?
Yes, absolutely! We offer gift certificates from $200 up to whatever amount you would like to spend. These can be used for all of our sessions.
Our standard gift certificate includes a session (maternity, newborn, family) a design appointment to view your images, and an 8x12 Australian made wood print valued at $499...but you only pay $200. You are able to add additional monies to these certificates to include a package or wall art credit.
Additional gift certificates can be customized to suit a pre-designed package, or a different monetary amount.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
What do we wear?
We provide maternity gowns for our Mumma’s to be. We also have a select range of dresses for little girls. However, if you’re not a gown girl, here is a link to our what to wear Pinterest board. This will help you choose the perfect outfits for your whole family, for a maternity, newborn or family session.
When you arrive for your newborn session, the studio will be quite warm, so wearing light layers is recommended.
When will we see our photos and how long will they be available to view and purchase?
We soft proof your gallery the same day so you will be able to see them straight after your session!
We keep purchased files for 2 years and all other files for 1 month after your session, before they are permanently deleted to make room for other sessions.
Can I purchase digital files?
Yes we do offer a digital collection! Please keep in mind that the quality of the products is just as important as the quality of the session itself, plus our packages are far better value than our digital only collection. I cannot guarantee the print quality from anywhere other than my professional print lab.
How do I pay? And do you offer payment plans?
When you book your session, we will send an invoice for your session fee. This needs to be paid to secure your chosen session.
With the purchase of your package, we accept bank transfer, cash and credit card. We also offer in-house layby and interest free payment plans through Payright.
At the time of your gallery viewing, your full package amount is to be paid upon selection, unless a payment plan has been set up. We offer PayRight payment plans on orders $1800 and above. A 30% deposit is required to set up your payment plan with PayRight and the remaining amount is to be paid directly to PayRight over 6-12 months, depending on the loan amount and package purchased. We can set this up on your gallery viewing day.
We also offer in-house payment plans for 6 months where you pay us directly and then receive your products when the final payment has been made.
Where is your studio and can anyone come to you for a session?
Our home-based studio is located in Romsey Victoria. We have clients from all around Australia and overseas who come to our studio for their session. I do offer interstate and international newborn sessions however a surcharge applies.
We specialise in maternity, newborn, cake smash and family photography. We also offer business branding and product photography.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 930am – 3pm.
Saturdays 10.30 am - 4.30pm (later times may apply due to sunset sessions).
Sundays – By appointment only (and only if any another date really won't work as this is our family day).
Vaccinations… Are you up to date?
Yes, 100%. Emma stays up to date with her whooping cough vaccination along with any other required boosters. Eliza, Skye and Georgia are also fully vaccinated, because your health and safety is of the utmost priority to us.
The team is also fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including boosters.
Are you professionally trained?
As our industry is not regulated there is no legal certificate to achieve a 'professionally trained standard'. However, over the last 9 years I have undertaken numerous posing, lighting, baby safety, first aid, CPR and photography courses, as well as spoken with midwives, paediatricians, obstetricians etc. to make sure what I do during a session does not injure my pregnant clients, newborns, babies or children.
