Family is everything and at Aurora Joy Photography, we love nothing more than capturing a family’s love, laughter and unique bond. These keepsakes will be treasured not only by you, but also your mini-me's who will appreciate them more and more as they grow older.
We’re here to help you pick the perfect outfits, plus we provide a ‘what to wear guide’ and have a Pinterest board with helpful clothing suggestions. You're welcome!
Straight after your photo session, or 1 week after, you will relax in the office with yummy snacks and drinks to preview your gallery of photographs, wall art mock-ups and select your package.

After being pampered with hair and make up Mumma, its time to have some fun in front of the camera. Capture pure moments with your family! The only thing you need to bring is your beautiful family, comfy clothes and anything Emma has said to bring.

Around 3-4 weeks after your photographs have been edited, your products will be ready to collect from the studio and to be displayed in your home and loved forevermore.

What does your session fee include?
Your $200 session fee includes:
- The session itself with use of our client wardrobe, either in studio or on location* session.
- A beautiful matted 8x12 print with your favourite photograph.
- Gallery viewing of your beautiful photographs.
- Social media sneak peek
PLUS Hair and makeup for mum If available as our gift to you.

For those who would prefer an indoor studio session, our Romsey based studio offers a range of backdrops (cream, white, black and grey) for a lifestyle look and feel. Studio session photographs will tone in with any home décor style, and we can even match frames to blend in seamlessly.
We hold studio sessions Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 2pm. Later times can be scheduled but only upon request.

With so many breathtaking locations around Melbourne, we will work with you to find ‘the one’ to best capture your memories. Maybe there’s a spot that has sentimental value and is special to your family? Or perhaps you have a certain theme/vibe in mind and would like to tap into our location knowledge to find that perfect place? Either way, we love working collaboratively to make your photo session truly reflect your tribe!
Please keep in mind that most location sessions are photographed at either sunrise (or before 10am), or later afternoon when the light is softer. If your dream location is particularly busy at those times it may not be possible, but we have plenty of ideas up our sleeve to ensure your photoshoot is nothing short of magical.

Emma is just so so lovely and we had a lot of fun with her on the day of our family photo shoot. She made myself and my husband feel so comfortable with her relaxed and joking nature. Emm was great with our kids and came up with creative ways to keep them engaged throughout the shoot. The photos Emm took of our family are just absolutely stunning.
