Master Jackson
It has been girl crazy here at Aurora Joy Photography the past few weeks. But I am glad to announce the boys have arrived!! Master Jackson, came to the studio recently for his newborn photos all the way from the other side of the city (past St Kilda).
He had a mix of natural tones, greys, creams whites and a throw in of blue to round out his gallery. The photographs I love the most though from his gallery are their family and parent photos below!!
When I first found out that these two amazing people were expecting their first baby I may or may not have screamed and jumped up and down with excitement.
When your friends start a family its an exciting time for them and I love being that creeper who is watching from the sidelines seeing their love grow and their relationship change as they become this new dynamic. It’s absolutely beautiful!
When your Dad rides… you just have to have to typical baby resting on a helmet shot!
I mean it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t get this shot for Jacksons Dad!
And yes, this is out the front of the studio on the brick wall (it is a composite photograph).

Here come the family photos!!
All hair and make up for Mum is by our amazing Hair and Makeup Artist Skye and can I just say how much I love a hair up style with a Braide in newborn photos!
They just create a unique look that I can’t get enough of!
Did you know, in every newborn session I make sure we get full family photos, mum and baby photos, dad and baby photos and then of course sibling photos if there are any siblings (fur babies included) along with our newborn only poses and set ups.
This is one of the most amazing times in a families life and it goes so damn fast that if these photographs weren’t taken you would hate yourself!
Don’t let that happen!!
